It started in a journal

In 2023 I was going through one of the most difficult times in my life. It was during this time of tribulation that I learned a lot about spiritual warfare and started to actively engage in the spiritual fights that I had been oblivious to in the past.

The more I engaged, the more I started seeing huge breakthroughs in my intimacy with God; on September 23rd during my morning prayer time I was writing in my journal as I often times did. On that day I got an idea and wrote the following:

I usually never wrote business stuff in my journal, so this was highly unusual, and I had no prior experience in the apparel industry.

When my Wife came downstairs, I shared with her this idea and her response was “that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of...go get a job!” I took her advice and started my job search. By July of 2024 all the doors for my job search had been closed. I had been encouraged by some people to pursue the apparel idea and all of those doors started opening up without my input...this is a story in itself...it was hard to explain what was going on and my Wife acknowledged that I should pursue this and see what happens. innerLION was born shortly thereafter.

During a subsequent meeting where I was discipling/counseling a member of our Men’s group, I showed him my journal and encouraged him to start his own. I opened up the journal and it was the September 23rd entry. I told him this was when I got the idea for innerLION. He looked at the page and said, “that first entry is pretty cool”. I looked and saw the first entry...I had never paid any attention to it since it was written in spite of going back to this page often. It read:

9/23 Help me dream your dreams Lord.

The purpose of innerLION is to provide premium apparel that will enlighten you to the word of God so that you can equip yourself and engage in spiritual warfare. You literally will be ‘wearing and declaring’ some of the most powerful warfare scriptures in the Bible. This is more than just clothing...it’s “SPIRITUAL WEARFARE”!

God gave me the vision for this company, all glory goes to Him. It is my honor and privilege to bring it to you!
